Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Kevor ("Kevor", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our AI-powered onboarding analysis platform at kevor.app (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy (kevor.app/privacy), which explains in more detail how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
This policy is written to satisfy India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), and reflects our commitment to international privacy standards, including the transparency requirements of the EU and UK GDPR. Questions, requests, and concerns about this policy can be sent to contact@kevor.app.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device - computer, tablet, or phone - when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites function, to remember your actions and preferences, and to improve your experience.
Cookies are either "strictly necessary" or "non-essential". Strictly necessary cookies are required for a website to operate at all - for example, keeping you signed in as you move between pages, or protecting your account from automated abuse. Non-essential cookies, such as those used for advertising or cross-site analytics, are optional and generally require your consent before they are set.
3. The cookies we use
Kevor uses only strictly necessary cookies. We currently set the following:
- Session cookie - Keeps you signed in to your Kevor account so the Service recognises you as you move between pages and you do not have to log in repeatedly. It is essential to the Service and remains active for the duration of your signed-in session.
- Security (bot-detection) token - When you sign in, our security provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a short-lived token to verify that you are human and to protect your account from automated attacks and abuse. This token expires almost immediately after it has served its purpose.
4. Analytics and other technologies
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or any third-party tracking of the kind that follows you around the internet. We do not build advertising profiles or share cookie data with advertisers.
We do use a privacy-first analytics service (PostHog, described in our Privacy Policy) to understand how the Service is used and to identify bugs. This service is configured to work without setting any tracking cookies on your device - it uses a short-lived, cookieless identifier that does not follow you across websites or persist between visits. Session replay is disabled within authenticated workspace areas. Because no cookies are set for this purpose, this analytics use does not change the list of cookies described in Section 3.
5. Why we do not show a cookie banner
Because every cookie Kevor uses is strictly necessary to deliver the Service you have asked for - keeping you signed in and keeping your account secure - consent is not required under applicable law, and we do not display a cookie consent banner.
We rely on these cookies on the legal basis that they are essential to provide the Service. When you create an account, you acknowledge this use by accepting our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and this Cookie Policy at sign-up.
6. Managing cookies
Most web browsers let you control cookies through their settings - you can usually view, block, or delete cookies at any time. For details, refer to your browser's help documentation (for example, the settings in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
Please note that because Kevor's cookies are strictly necessary, blocking or deleting them will prevent the Service from working correctly. In particular, you will not be able to stay signed in, and our security checks may fail.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the Service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent in-product notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
