Terms of Service

Last updated: October 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Kevor ("Kevor", "we", "us"), operator of the AI-powered onboarding analysis platform available at kevor.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (kevor.app/privacy). If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to that organisation.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Kevor lets you upload your organisation's onboarding documentation and converts it into a structured, editable model of your onboarding process, with AI-generated analysis including health scores, friction points, missing steps, and recommended action items.

The Service is currently offered as a private beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes, but the beta is provided on an "as available" basis without any uptime commitment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Kevor is a business tool and is not intended for personal, non-commercial, or consumer entertainment use.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and notify us promptly at contact@kevor.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.

5. Your content and ownership

You retain all ownership rights in the documents, text, and data you upload or create in Kevor ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, and process Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you - including extracting text from uploaded documents, sending that text to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy to generate your analysis, storing the results, and displaying them back to you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not share it with other users.

You represent that you own, or have the necessary rights and authority to upload, everything you put into the Service - including onboarding documents that may contain your employees' personal data - and that doing so does not violate any law, contract, or confidentiality obligation you owe to anyone.

Analysis outputs (scores, recommendations, action items) are generated for your account's use within the Service. You may use and export them freely for your organisation's internal purposes.

Confidentiality. We treat Your Content as your organisation's confidential information. We access it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Service, our staff and subprocessors are bound to protect it, and we do not disclose it to anyone except as described in this Section and in our Privacy Policy (including the AI providers listed there, solely to generate your analysis).

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to upload, store, transmit, or distribute anything, or to engage in any activity, that:

  • is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, in any applicable jurisdiction;
  • involves the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors, or any child sexual abuse material - we remove such content immediately, permanently terminate the responsible account without warning, preserve evidence, and report it to the appropriate authorities;
  • contains malware, viruses, deceptive links, or any code or material designed to harm, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any system (including ours or other users');
  • infringes anyone else's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights, or breaches any confidentiality or non-disclosure obligation;
  • attempts to probe, scan, breach, or test the security or vulnerability of the Service without our prior written permission, or to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or abuse-prevention features (including rate limits and bot checks);
  • attempts to access another user's data or account, or to reverse-engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
  • uses the Service to send spam, harassment, or unsolicited communications, or to misrepresent your identity;
  • overloads the Service with automated requests beyond reasonable human use.
  • involves uploading highly sensitive personal data, such as government identity numbers (e.g., SSN, Aadhaar, passport numbers), financial account details, or medical records. Kevor is designed to analyze onboarding processes, not to act as a secure repository for sensitive employee PII.

7. Our rights to protect the Service

We may take action to protect the Service and other users, including: issuing warnings; suspending or terminating accounts; removing or disabling access to content; throttling or refusing abusive traffic; and cooperating with law enforcement or regulatory authorities, including responding to lawful requests for information.

Except where content is illegal (in which case we act immediately and without notice), we will, where practicable, notify you before or when we take adverse action against your account and give you a chance to respond.

Reports of abuse can be made to contact@kevor.app.

8. AI-generated analysis - important disclaimer

The scores, summaries, friction points, and recommendations the Service produces are generated by artificial intelligence and rule-based heuristics, based solely on the documents you provide. They are advisory indicators designed to help you review your onboarding process.

They may be incomplete, imprecise, or incorrect. They are not audits, legal advice, HR advice, employment advice, or professional advice of any kind, and you must independently verify anything you rely on. You remain solely responsible for decisions you make about your employees, candidates, and organisation.

9. Beta terms

The Service is in private beta and is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind (see Section 12). We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or zero data loss. You are responsible for regularly exporting your data. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently. If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a royalty-free right to use them to improve the Service without obligation to you.

10. Payments

The Service is currently free. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will notify you in advance, paid features will be clearly marked, and we will never charge you without your explicit agreement to a paid plan and its terms.

11. Termination

By you. You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may delete your account from Settings. Account deletion permanently erases your data as described in our Privacy Policy (Section 10).

By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms - immediately and without notice for illegal content, security abuse, or conduct that creates risk for us or others; otherwise, where practicable, after notice and a chance to remedy.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including 5, 8, 12, 13, 14, and 16) survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, or reliable (see Section 8).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions; in those jurisdictions, our warranties are limited to the extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Kevor be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages - including lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption - arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you have paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (US $100). Given that the Service is currently free, this means our liability is strictly limited as described. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify and hold Kevor harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. For material changes, we will notify you by email or a prominent in-product notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a change, your remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at kevor.app/privacy, which is part of these Terms.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Bengaluru, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kevor regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
